Social Studies
World History is a year course that utilizes thematic & chronological units to highlight significant people and events from ancient civilizations through the modern era. This course will also focus on geography, culture, and current events.
It is my goal as a teacher to prepare my students for life beyond Kamehameha.
When students learn about historical events, people and issues, they in
turn will learn more about themselves. When an individual truly understands
one’s self, it makes it much easier to embrace others.
Since we live in a global community that is constantly evolving, it is essential
we recognize our similarities and honor diversity!
