Aloha and e komo mai on behalf of the administration, faculty and staff of Kamehameha Schools Hawaii .

The Kamehameha Schools exists to carry out in perpetuity the wishes of Ke Ali`i Bernice Pauahi Bishop to education children and youth of Hawaiian ancestry to become good and industrious men and women.

Our faculty and staff have four core beliefs and practices that will be the foundation of all we do.

Belief One: We will consider the well being of students as the fundamental focus of all decisions and actions. Practice: Students first in everything we do.

Belief Two: We will exhibit professional conduct by modeling and practicing the Hawaiian value of pono – to be moral and proper in all circumstances.
Practice: Treat each other with respect and dignity.

Belief Three: Our school community will be a school of aloha.
Practice: We will teach, counsel, give advice and discipline from a heart of aloha. Students will feel that their best interest is placed at the forefront of everything we do. We will discipline with dignity in order for our students to feel safe, cared for and loved.
