Mr.
Eric Stack
Speech / Drama
![]()
Mr. Stack teaches classes in Advanced Speech and Drama. Advanced Speech focuses on developing the oral communication skills of students to help them succeed in the academic and professional world that follows high school. Drama courses include Introduction to Theatre and Theatre Performance. Students in Introduction to Theatre develop an appreciation for the theatre world by observing and partaking in drama exercises. The Theatre Performance student develops his or her skill in whatever theatre field he or she chooses.

For Mr. Stack, teaching fulfills the need of self-actualization. It is a need based on the value of giving back what has been received. “I have done many things that interests me,” ruminates Mr. Stack, “but none as fulfilling as the satisfaction of a student discovering his or her potential.”

Mr. Stack has a BFA from Arizona State University and a MA from Oregon State University. He has been working in theatre in one capacity or another since 1981. He has been teaching since 1999.

Mr. Stack likes to wear bow ties (the type that really tie) and wear hats
like they did in old Jimmy Stewart movies.
