Kamehameha High School - Student Led Conferences

Our Student Led Conferences (SLC) are designed to help students promote ownership of their personal progress. SLC will provide students with tools and materials to make informed decisions about their choices in high school and their post-secondary options. SLC also builds student accountability in their academic progress and career exploration. Parents, families and friends of students have an opportunity to hear their personal plans, challenges and goals. Students are assigned conference dates and times with trained facilitators (faculty and staff) which gives them control of how and what they present during this time. Each grade level and their students have a particular theme for their presentation.

Student Led Conferences play an important role in personal development at Kamehameha Schools Hawai`i, therefore they are mandatory for all freshmen, sophomore and junior students.
