Welina!
We would like to introduce ourselves as your child’s ninth grade
team of teachers. We are dedicated educators who are looking forward to
working with your child. Our commitment to Ke Ali`i Pauahi’s legacy
will be an integral part of our daily classroom experiences. The teaming
concept allows for personal attention to be given to every student. It also
encourages project based learning and offers opportunities for teachers
to work across curricular lines.
We are teachers from many content areas working together to ensure that
each student on our team has a meaningful and successful year.
Our goals include:
• combining subject areas into meaningful project based learning
• instilling high standards with consistency
• staying in good contact with each other concerning student progress
The upcoming school year will serve as a year full of great excitement and
new challenges for your child. As a team of twelve teachers, we have over
80 years of teaching experience, have attended 12 different colleges/universities
and currently hold 16 post-secondary degrees. We are passionate about our
role as educators and feel strongly about the importance of life-long learning.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if we can be of any assistance. We look forward to working and playing as an ohana this school year!
